Cases studies from Court Cases:
Government of India is working super hard to take care of the rights of elderly. It started in 2007 with the law recognizing the responsibilities of their children to look after them but with time the feedback and case law has brought about many updates. There are some fantastic amendments proposed to further strengthen the rights of the elderly and the draft bill (2019) is before the Standing Committee of the Indian parliament. It is of course a welcome news for the elderly.
