Abandoned: An elderly mother left on the road in Delhi by her own daughter. She has two daughters but neither will take her. She also has two brothers and a nephew who also do not want to keep her and take care of her. Fortunately she has managed to find a place of shelter dedicated to cater for the elderly. But many others are not so lucky. Urban centers in India do have some old age homes – but not enough and not cheap. Many elderly of humble backgrounds cannot afford them…
